Common Questions

Why did an item not appear in clipboard history?

Dotto Pal supports text, links, colors, images, and file references. Some sensitive content may be ignored, and Dotto Pal avoids saving duplicate entries created by its own recopy action.

Where is my clipboard history stored?

In the current version, clipboard history and pinned snippets are stored locally on your Mac.

How do pinned snippets work?

You can pin an item from clipboard history or create a snippet manually. Snippets are designed for reusable text such as emails, addresses, replies, links, and notes.

Troubleshooting

• Restart Dotto Pal and copy a short text sample again.
• Check whether another clipboard manager is also running.
• If a language change looks incomplete, restart Dotto Pal to apply it everywhere.
